Errors in Channel 10 News Item on Kenja - 29 July 2011
(1)
- We take out an “In Memoriam” notice on the anniversary of Ken’s passing (25 July 2007), once a year
- People contribute an amount of money for the “In Memoriam” notice
- We have done this across 3 states for 4 years
- As it is an “In Memoriam” notice, and Ken was a World War II veteran, we use the insignia, and have done so for 3 years – once a year
- No one has complained over these 3 years.
(2)
- We never use the insignia for “advertising”
- We do not promote Ken’s war record as advertising. We were forced to display it after a continual effort over the past few years by Bevin Hudson to falsify Ken’s war record (see Hudson ABC interview with Rachael Kohn)
(3)
- The story completely omitted the courts had cleared Ken’s name on 11 charges of child molestation
- The story omitted the conspiracy to destroy Kenja by destroying Ken Dyers’ reputation, which was revealed and shown in this court case. This was promoted by extreme fanatical right-wing fundamentalist religious groups, who are opposed to the non-religious expression of spirituality.
- The story omitted Mr Hudson’s reasons for his involvement in this continual attack.
(4)
- Jan Dyers was never invited to comment on camera
- The reporter simply informed Jan Dyers that there was a letter in the mail from “the army” concerning the use of insignia. Jan informed the reporter that she had received no such letter and could not comment on it until she had seen it.
