Ms Hamilton-Dyers’ Solicitor
AVO case

Hamilton-Dyers’ Solicitor: Because Mr Dyers then commits suicide, at 85, very ill, ailing, he is then told about the allegations of this witness, somebody who he had a relationship with, as he has been disclosed in some of the material.
He is shocked by that and he commits suicide.

... ... ... ... ... ...

Hamilton-Dyers’ Solicitor: Because what happens then is that my client undertakes a series of public lectures to expose this witness’ involvement in her husband’s death, namely that those allegations were false.
She knew it, they were part of an attempt to extort.
She did this in conjunction with her father and Mr Dyers, as a consequence, at 85 years old took his life. Ms Hamilton’s case had always been that this witness lied.
She made these false allegations which ultimately forced Mr Dyers to take his own life because he could not go on any further, after a long history of battling false sexual assault allegations.
This was the last straw and my client’s case here is this was part of a conspiracy.
They wanted to stop her, and I set this out in the first day, in my document

... ... ... ... ... ...

Hamilton-Dyers’ Solicitor: [Ms Hamilton] then set about a series of lectures, including in the Lane Cove area where [The Applicant] and her father lived.
As my friend has already indicated in this lecture series, whilst it is done somewhat obliquely because of defamation issues she refers to [them] not by name, as having been responsible for this.
They are very concerned about this and that is why they took these steps in the attempt to get her to stop these lectures...
